Savannah Taylor Career Background
What is your biggest career achievement?
- My biggest career achievement is a slow-burning achievement. It all started in 2017 when I joined RangeWater Real Estate as a Marketing Representative (or Leasing Agent) at 5115 Park Place. I took the responsibility upon myself to take over our community’s social media page as it needed some work. I began treating the community page as an extension of my own social media, showing off my love of the creative space and photography. We were nominated for “Social Media of the Year” at Greater Charlotte Apartment Association’s awards that year. We won.
I joined our company’s brand new, Social Media Ambassador program that same year. I was able to brainstorm among all our company’s on-site social media gurus. Eventually, I started to run the Social Media Ambassador program as soon as I joined the marketing team, overseeing several on-site team members with the passion for social media I have. I began to run our company social media pages (@liverangewater) and I was invited to speak at the FAA’s 50th Anniversary Conference in Orlando in October 2021. NOW, I’m blessed with the opportunity to start our Social Media department for RangeWater by offering social media management and trainings for our communities.
What is your ultimate career goal within the rental housing industry?
- It's hard to ask a creative millennial what their “ultimate” goal is. It’s hard to predict what my goal will be in 20 years from now but I’m currently living my multifamily goal. I have joined the creative marketing team and am starting our own Social Media department. I want the multifamily industry to be able to utilize social media the way other businesses and creators do. The ease of “shopping” on Instagram must translate to renting an apartment or a home.
What's one rental housing trend you have your eye on?
- A trend I would like to see in the multifamily housing industry is, as all my answers have been, about social media. I would like to see the multifamily housing industry be able to utilize Instagram and other social platforms the way other businesses and creators do. I want to be able to utilize the “shopping” feature on our social media platforms to apply for apartments. I want to be able to utilize influencers in multifamily as many other industries do. We have a unique ability to influence people’s HOMES. Let’s use it while we stay true to our core values by having integrity in every experience we offer to our residents, prospects and customers!
