What is your biggest career achievement?
- My most significant achievement was growing virtual engagement using technology types for personalized videos to welcome new team members, follow up, and announce companywide messages. Connection with a company's goals and purpose is essential to overall employee success. To enhance communication and personalization during onboarding and virtual learning, I created over 280 videos, and I reached over 813 team members with personalized welcome messages. I formed a team devoted to hand-writing welcome cards to each new team member across nine different states. Utilizing technology that puts the human element back into our virtual world is critical in staying engaged during challenging times. Being intentional, personable, and connecting with others will always be a trend that never goes out of style!
What is your ultimate career goal within the rental housing industry?
- My ultimate career goal is to lead a team solely focused on employee engagement. According to a recent blog by RealPage, the average turnover rate in multifamily is 32% compared to the national average of 19% in other industries. I aspire to help my company achieve the lowest numbers of employee turnover rates. Studies show that one of the main reasons employees leave is a lack of clear direction. I am determined to create systems and processes through onboarding and continued education that paint a defined picture of how people add value to its company's overall goals. Showing team members how their talents align with achieving the company's vision is essential to retaining top talent. I am focused on creating courses for leaders on goal alignment and communicating their teams' real value to their mission.

- Online video messaging platforms are game-changing in increasing engagement with employees, customers, clients, follow-up rates, and increasing sales performance. Forward-thinking organizations in the rental housing industry can use this to their advantage during the sales process. Being memorable is a critical factor in creating a fulfilling experience and generating revenue for the communities. I have been using the online video messaging platform vidREACH, for over a year. In that year, I created over 280 personalized video campaigns. The analytics show that we reached over 800 clicks overall. The high volume of engagement proves that people seek face to face interaction. Video messages allow for more in-depth communication, a thorough follow-up, and it uniquely showcases the individual!
